Suspected killer arrested after manhunt in Plant City

Master Brown is under arrest Thursday after a morning-long manhunt in northeast Plant City.
Brown, 21, is accused of killing 22-year-old Ha'keem Alagawan Cook near a store on South Maryland Avenue in Plant City around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Two other men were detained Thursday morning as the manhunt came to an end.
It started early Thursday when detectives with Plant City received a tip and saw the suspect vehicle in the Bealsville area, south of Plant City.
Along with Hillsborough County deputies, officers attempted a traffic stop, but the suspects took off.
With officers and deputies in pursuit, the suspects went northbound on SR-39, through Plant City, and into Pasco County.
The car chase ended when the suspects drove through a fence near Midway Rd. and Charley Taylor.  The three suspects fled on foot.
Weapons were found the vehicle and an officer safety alert was placed in effect.
K9 deputies from Hillsborough County were called in, as were deputies with Polk County.
A Polk County deputy on patrol got a tip, and the suspects were placed in custody.
