PLANT CITY, Fla. - The 79th annual Florida Strawberry Festival starts Thursday with more entertainment, attractions, food and fun than ever before.
Each year the festival boasts the huge strawberry harvest grown in Plant City. This year's event will be packed with rides, games, exhibits of agriculture, more than 20 concerts, homemade goods and of course strawberry cuisine like you've never seen.

Tickets for all shows are for reserved seats in the Wish Farm Soundstage. Show tickets range from $15 to $55; gate admission additional. There are a limited number of free seats available (with paid gate admission) in the EYE EXPRESS Free Grandstands for all shows on first-come, first-seated basis in the Grandstands.
The Strawberry Festival is at 303 North Lemon Street, Plant City, FL 33563, and runs from February 27 to March 9
FESTIVAL HOURS 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Daily Midway remains open until 11 p.m. except on Friday nights when Moonlight Magic is open from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
GATE ADMISSION $10.00 (13 & up) $5.00 (6-12) Children 5 & under are admitted free with a paying adult
FESTIVAL PARKING LOTS $5.00 - Cars $10.00 - Vehicles over 20' $10.00 - Buses Parking lots are located throughout the Festival grounds. Price includes a complimentary bus ride to the Festival entrance gate
TRANSPORTATION The Festival operates FREE bus transportation from parking lots to the entrance and back again. The buses run continuously during the operating hours of the Festival. Two buses are wheelchair accessible, and there are designated areas for handicapped parking.
DIRECTIONS From Orlando: Travelers using I-4 going west from Orlando/Lakeland should take Exit 21 (Alexander Street) or Exit 19 (Thonotosassa Road). From Tampa: Travelers going east from Tampa on I-4 should take Exit 17 (Branch Forbes Road) or Exit 19 (Thonotosassa Road). From Highway 60: Travelers using Highway 60 west of Winter Haven/Mulberry should take Highway 39 north to Alexander Street and follow signs. Travelers using Highway 60 east from Tampa/Brandon should take Turkey Creek Road north to Highway 574, turn east on Highway 574 and follow signs. From Highway 92: Travelers using Highway 92 east from Tampa will turn south at Woodrow Wilson Street and go one block. Travelers using Highway 92 west from Lakeland will turn south at Lemon Street and go one block. From Highway 574: Travelers using Highway 574 (Reynolds Street) east from Tampa/Brandon will follow the signs.
