WEEKI WACHEE / BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - A missing toddler, infant and their father were located in good health Sunday, but the incident has lead to the father's arrest, according to Hernando County Sheriff's deputies.
Officials announced late Saturday night that 9-month-old Raven Brooks and 2-year-old Olivia Brooks were "picked up" from their Weeki Wachee home by their father, Aaron David Brooks, 31, but had not returned home.
Officials said all three were expected home Saturday, and when they didn't return, family members became worried and contacted law enforcement.
A HCSO spokesperson said early Sunday morning the agency's attempts to contact the father or the children had turned up nothing, but Sunday afternoon, deputies said they were found around 10:40 a.m.
One of the children had health issues and required regular medication that Brooks did not have with him, but the girl and her sister were fine when they were found with Brooks at an undisclosed Brooksville residence.
The agency announced Sunday that Brooks had been arrested and charged with interference with child custody and grand theft of a motor vehicle.
He was being held in the Hernando County Jail on $4,000 bond.
