Major concern this morning in Citrus county. A hurricane watch has people on edge. Residents are taking precautions early.

The major concern this morning are the homes that line the Homosassa River. Homeowners are worried in the next few hours that they'll have to make the move to leave.

The manager at the popular "Freezer Tiki Bar" told ABC Action News that they have generators on hand. They also have lanterns ready in case power goes out.

The restaurant has been in the community for some time. The manager told ABC Action News they've seen floods in the past, they've survived those and they're confident they'll make it through.

"We get through this every year. And when the tide gets up too high we'll either leave, or we'll make potato salad and party," said Pam Lay.

The Citrus county emergency management director told ABC Action News they'll be making more solid plans later this morning once they know the strength and path of the storm.

Several local parks are closing early Tuesday afternoon.
