Hernando County deputies are searching for a 60-year-old sexual predator who cut off his ankle monitor and threw it into a wooded area in Brooksville on Saturday.

Larry Williams, 60, reportedly left his home located on Broad Street in Brooksville and drove to the area of Mondon Hill Road, cut off his ankle monitor and tossed it into a wooded area. Deputies say Williams then left the area, most likely in his 1996 GMC Yukon (similar to the one in pictures above).

Detectives located his vehicle Tuesday, but Williams is still at large.
