Hernando County deputies say a teenager held her mother at knifepoint following an argument

HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla - A 14-year-old Hernando County girl is accused of holding her mother at knifepoint following a heated argument.
The teen, who we are not identifying because she is a juvenile, is facing domestic battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
She is now being held at a juvenile detention center.
Authorities say on October 26, the teen became involved in an argument with her mother while they were preparing to go to a baseball game.
The teen's mother told deputies her daughter shoved her while yelling at her. The teen reportedly countered that her mother shoved her which caused her to fall backwards in the shower and hit her head.
The teen's mother admitted to pushed her daughter away from her because her daughter had become physically violent, an arrest report states.
Deputies say the teen walked into the kitchen, grabbed a knife and then went back to the bathroom to confront her mother.
The teen stood directly in front of her mother and began moving her arm back and forth imitating a stabbing motion, an arrest report states.
Deputies say the teen's mom feared her daughter was going to stab her and waited to call 911.
According to an arrest affidavit, the teen reportedly admitted to holding her mother at knifepoint.
