Florida Highway Patrol says a school bus accident with injuries closed Mondon Hill Road in Brooksville on Tuesday morning.
Action Air 1 flew over the scene of the crash where a 2-door Saturn was stuck under the back end of a school bus.
Mondon Hill Road was reopened around 8:40 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the driver of the Saturn coupe is in critical condition after attempting to pass the school bus, which had just picked up its first student, when the accident occurred.
The school district says there was one driver and one student on the bus at the time of the crash. Neither of them were injured.
