WEEKI WACHEE, Fla - A 74-year-old Spring Hill man is accused of exposing himself to and molesting a young boy at Weeki Wachee forest preserve Monday.
Edward Kresoski of 1573 Waterfall, Spring Hill, is facing one count of lewd and lascivious behavior on a child and one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition.
The boy is under 16 years of age.
Hernando County Sheriff's deputies say Kresoski went on a bike ride to the Weeki Wachee Preserve off Osowaw Boulevard with the boy. The boy was visiting from Russia.
Deputies say when the boy and Kresoski stopped for a rest, Kresoski asked the boy to show him his genitals. Deputies say when the boy refused, Kresoski touched the boy's genitals over his clothing.
An arrest affidavit states that when the boy pushed Kresoski away, Kresoski reportedly tried to pull the boy's pants off.
The boy told Kresoski to stop between five and ten times, deputies say.
When he could not get the boy's pants off, Kresoski allegedly stood up and exposed himself to the boy.
Deputies say when the boy refused to look at Kresoski's genitals, he pulled up his pants and they went home.
An arrest report states Kresoski admitted asking the boy to show him his genitals but denied touching the boy's genitals and trying to pull the boy's pants off.
He also admitted to exposing himself to the boy, deputies say.
Kresoski reportedly told deputies the only reason he exposed his genitalia is because he was planning on urinating but decided against doing that when the boy became upset.
Kresoski was arrested and is being held without bond.
