A 2-year-old child drown Tuesday in Spring Hill, deputies said.
The child was found in an above ground pool in the 14900 block of Little Ranch Road, according to Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
The child was playing with a 6-year-old sibling in the yard when their parents heard the older child scream, deputies said. The parents then discovered the 2-year-old in the pool.
The child was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after 6 p.m.
