INVERNESS, Fla - Pregnant and armed with a knife, Citrus County deputies say a 23-year-old woman threatened to kill her mother and cut her up.
Jessica Pacitti, 23, is charged with aggravated assault.
According to an arrest report, Pacitti and her mother began arguing at church and the argument continued when they returned to their Inverness home Sunday.
Deputies report that the argument stemmed over Pacitti giving up her child for adoption and blaming her mother for the adoption plans.
Once home, deputies say Pacitti grabbed a butcher style kitchen knife and pointed it in her mother's direction.
Pacitti reportedly told her mother she wanted to see her bleed and asked her if she was ready to die, an arrest report states.
Deputies say after Pacitti made the threat, she retreated to her bedroom and locked the door.
When deputies arrived, they say Pacitti had fled out the back bedroom. She was found nearby and arrested.
Pacitti is being held without bond.
