Citrus County deputies say the former Inverness Little League president and former treasurer misappropriated funds during their terms on the board.

Zora Gregory, 51, of Inverness, is now charged with grand theft and criminal use of personal identification information.  Gregory served as treasurer.  He is also a former corrections officer.

Heidi Goocher, 36, of Inverness is also charged with grand theft and criminal use of personal identification information.  Goocher served as president.

Deputies say they began investigating in August 2015 after receiving a fraud report involving Inverness Little League.

Gregory was provided with a little league credit card to use for the sole benefit of the organization, an arrest affidavit states.  Investigators say financial records show Gregory  used the debit card for his own personal gain by paying his 2011 taxes and insurance bills.

The total amount Gregory debited totals $1,563.34, an arrest affidavit notes.

Investigators say Goocher used the league's debit card to make $6,995.37 worth of unauthorized charges.

An arrest affidavit, Goocher made dozens of purchases at gas stations, paid a $150.00 cell phone bill on multiple occasions,  purchased baby items including a changing pad and paid her water bill.

Other charges include the purchase of hair products, a Playstation Controller and a backpack, the affidavit details.
