A Brooksville man was arrested when deputies served a search warrant at his house

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - Detectives with the Hernando County Sheriff's Office Vice and Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 757 Champion Drive in Brooksville, resulting in the arrest of one individual and the seizure of illegal narcotics and a firearm.

Terrance Devon Ford is being held on $41,000.

The 25-year-old Ford is now charged with possession of a structure for distributing a controlled substance, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm with altered serial number and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say they seized crack cocaine, marijuana, numerous items of drug paraphernalia (scales, baggies), a semi-automatic handgun with the serial number removed and $133 in cash.

Detectives say the investigation is on-going and additional arrests are pending.
