Police: Twelve injured in Boston house explosion

At least twelve people were injured Wednesday in an explosion in a Boston home, according to WCVB.
 
The three-story home in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood caught fire after an explosion was reported inside about 9:30 p.m., according to WCVB, a Boston ABC affiliate, citing fire officials. Heavy smoke and flames were reported in the basement and upper floors.
 
Two elderly people were among the injured in the home.
 
The cause is under investigation.
