TAMPA, Fla. - The loss of Robin Williams underscores the dark side of depression and its often and most-tragic consequence, suicide.
Williams was found dead Monday in his California home from an apparent suicide by asphyxiation. His family said Williams suffered from a deep depression and battled periodic substance abuse.
The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay released a statement Tuesday regarding Williams' death, and urging people who battle depression to get help.
