Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will hand over the contents of 3,000 advertisements purchased by Russian accounts during the 2016 presidential campaign.

This is a change from the social media network's first decision to take back copies it had given to Congress when it cited privacy issues. Facebook wanted to first do an extensive legal review, according to the Washington Post.

The ads in question were purchased by fake accounts by the Internet Research Agency Firm in St. Petersburg, Russia.
