Body found matches suspect in Phoenix office shooting

PHOENIX - (AP)-- Phoenix police say they've found a body that matches the description of the man wanted for Wednesday's office shooting that killed a man and critically wounded another.

Authorities say the vehicle that 70-year-old Arthur Douglas Harmon was likely driving was found Thursday in a Mesa parking lot.

Police say a body matching Harmon's description was found nearby. The person died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Harmon is the suspect in Wednesday's shooting at an office building.

Police say he shot and killed the CEO of a company he had a dispute with and wounded the company's attorney, as well as another person.

It happened at the end of a mediation session over a lawsuit Harmon filed against the company in a contract dispute.

Scripps Station ABC15 first heard reports of the shooting around 10:45 a.m. at the complex off 16th Street north of Glendale Avenue
in the lobby of the law firm, DeConcini McDonald Yetwin & Lacy, P.C.

Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson identified the victim deceased as 48-year-old Steve Singer.

Two other victims shot suffered non-life threatening injuries.
