TAMPA - The computer glitch that forced American Airlines to ground all of their flight for several hours Tuesday has been fixed, according to a statement from the airline.
Earlier, the company posted on their Twitter account that it had encountered a problem with its reservation and booking system.
Long lines of air travelers could be seen at Tampa International Airport.
Around 4:30 p.m. American Airline canceled the following flights from Tampa:
- Flight 1786 to JFK - Flight 1828 to MIA - Flight 865 to DFW - Flight 1142 to MIA - Flight 2013 to ORD - Flight 1621 to MIA.
American Airlines has told ABC Action News that more flights may be canceled.
