Tampa's 2016 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade

The 26th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Parade will take place in Tampa on Monday, January 18, from noon to 3 p.m.

The parade is free to attend, and all are welcome.

The MLK Parade steps off at noon at the intersection of 21st Avenue and 15th Street.  It will proceed north on 15th St. until it reaches Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and will turn east; the parade will travel east on Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. until 22nd Street where it will turn north. The parade will continue north on 22nd St. until it reaches its end at the intersection of 22nd St. and East Osborne Ave, at approximately 3 p.m. For best viewing, parade goers are encouraged to go to 15th St.

The staging area will be blocked off to vehicle traffic. The staging area is located on 21st Avenue from 14th Street to Ybor Street, on 14th Street from 21st Avenue to Columbus Drive and on 15th Street from 21st Avenue to 17th Street.

The impacted area is: 21st Avenue from 14th Street to Ybor Street, on 14th Street from 21st Avenue to Columbus Drive and on 15th Street from 21st Avenue to 17th St. or on 15th St. from 21st St. to E. Lake Ave.
