TAMPA BAY, FL -- Here is a list of Tampa Bay area events that have been rescheduled or canceled due to Friday's rainy weather:
- Tampa 4th Holiday Lighted Boat Parade has been canceled for tonight, the parade will take place on Friday, December 18th at 6:30 p.m.
- Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo and Wild Wonderland is closed Friday. Will re-open on Saturday.
- Lakeland City Commissioners have canceled Saturday's Snowfest in downtown Lakeland.
- The Dade City Chamber of Commerce has canceled the Annual Christmas Parade scheduled for Friday December the 4th at 7pm. No rescheduled date set.
- The Polk City Christmas Parade scheduled for Sat. December 5th has been canceled. The Parade has been set for the scheduled rain date of Sat. Dec. 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
- The Clearwater Downtown Holiday Light-Up and Wreath Decorating Contest and Miracle on Cleveland Street festivities will be postponed to Friday, Dec. 11. The celebration hours will remain from 5 to 10 p.m.
- City of Dunedin's Old Fashioned Christmas, scheduled for Friday, December 4, has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 12 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in Downtown Dunedin.
-Haines City Annual Glitter, Glisten and Snow event that was scheduled for tonight from 5-9 pm has been rescheduled for next Friday December 11th from 5-9PM at Lake Eva Park in Haines City.
-"Night in the Islands" on the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks is canceled for December 5th.
-The Havendale Christmas Parade (from Winter Haven to Auburndale) that was scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm tonight has been canceled due to the weather. It has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 10th at 7 pm.
-The Plant City Christmas Parade scheduled for tonight at 6pm, has been rescheduled for Dec. 11th at 6pm.
-The City of Tampa has canceled Santa Fest and the holiday parade, that was scheduled for Saturday, December 5th at Centennial Park. It will not be rescheduled.
