Last Update: 12/04/2008 1:25 pm
TAMPA, FL -- Visitors to Tampa will now be greeted by a brand new sculpture, an icon symbolizing flight near Tampa International Airport.

The sculpture is being installed at the Avion Park development just south of the airport.

Sculptor Robert Bruce Epstein of Reddington Beach designed the 33ft tall, 2 piece sculpture, which is being hoisted into place today and will be completed over the next week.

The sculpture will be lit in a grand illumination on December 17th.
