Vehicle that hit Tampa mother and daughter identified

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL -- Tampa Detectives have identified the vehicle involved in a hit and run that injured a mother and daughter in October.
 
Dana Franklin was walking across Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd with 1-year-old baby on October 29th when she was hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle left the scene of the crash.

Detectives say the vehicle has been iedentified as a dark colored 1996-2000 Dodge Caravan that may be missing the driver's side mirror and have a broked headlight on the drivers side. There may be a red emblem or badge on the Caravans front grill.

The mother sustained a broken pelvis and left leg, the baby has a fractured orbital.

Detectives are asking any motorists who may have witnessed the accident to contact Tampa Police at 813.231.6130.
