Two hurt in fiery motorcycle crash in Clearwater

CLEARWATER, FL -- Two motorcycles heading East on the Memorial Causeway overnight crashed, one hitting a guardrail and then into a utility pole while the other wiped out.

The bike that hit the pole burst into flames.  That driver, 22-year-old Justin Mullins was sent to the hospital by medical helicopter with serious injuries.
 
The other, 22-year-old David Johnson suffered minor inquiries but refused treatment at the scene. was transported by ground ambulance.

Shortly after the crash a car hit the downed utility pole but no one in the car was hurt.

Clearwater Police continue to investigate.
