Teen killed in dirt bike accident

HOMOSASSA, FL -- A 17 year-old Citrus County teen is dead following a dirt bike accident last night. 

The Florida Highway Patrol says Cody Corbin was riding a Honda TR200 dirt bike on West Village Drive and for some unknown reason drove onto the shoulder of the road.

Corbin's bike hit a row of mailboxes and he was thrown from the bike.

He was transported to Seven Rivers Hospital where he died upon arrival.

The crash remains under investigation.
