TAMPA, FL -- No one was hurt after a grease fire broke out at a Tampa restaurant Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the room of Pollos Pucalor, located at 7212 North Armenia Avenue, when they arrived just a few minutes after 2 o'clock.

Owner Olmer Puentes and about 10 co-workers and 15 customers were inside, but thankfully they had already made it outside before crews got to the scene. No one was hurt.

It took almost 45 minutes to get the fire under control. Investigators say the fire started in the hood system of a rotisserie cooker. The fire quickly spread into the attic space, causing about $175,000 in damages.

The restaurant will be closed until repairs are made.
