Tampa man shot while playing cards

TAMPA, FL -- Three men driving a dark colored car with a loud muffler interrupted an outdoor card game Wednesday about 8:30 in the 4300 block of West Arch Street.

One suspect fired a shot in the air causing everyone playing cards to run away.  One man in his 20's was shot at several times and hit once in the back.

The victim is identified as Marc Robert Strode who collapsed near Hubert Street and died later at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Detectives don't have much to go on regarding the suspects who are also in their 20's.  Two were armed with semi-automatic handguns.
