BROOKSVILLE, Fl - Most people hear Bob Haa as a conservative voice in Hernando County. "When it comes to government control, I don't like government control. I think the less they control is the better. I'm that kind of conservative," said Haa.

Haa first hit the WWJB airwaves in 1983. But he's never had a day like this. Sitting down with a secret service agent after his show. "He didn't ask me to turn around and put my hands behind my back, so I felt pretty good."

The visit is a result of an accusation made Friday. Someone reported that Haa made threatening comments on the air about President Obama. Haa says he thinks that same person called in Tuesday claiming to have a recording of the show.

Here's an exchange from Tuesday between Haa and the caller:

Caller: "He (a caller on Friday) said he was going to be out there target practicing, because he's ticked off at Obama and everything that's going on. And you told him save the ammunition, don't be wasting it on the target. You said use it on the administration."
Haa: "I did not"
Caller: "You most certainly did."
Haa: "Bring the tape."

Haa says it could have just been someone misunderstanding what he said..but more than likely he says it was a malicious lie that apparently no one else heard. "I did tell him to save his bullets, but not for anything like it's been turned into."

The Secret Service agent left after about an hour. Department officials say they are looking into the matter, trying to separate fact from fiction.

In the meantime the topic is keeping the WWJB phone lines jammed.

Caller: "It shows you how fast we can get railroaded int his country now us Americans, all we've got to do is speak, and somebody's on us and they accuse us and we are guilty until proven innocent."

The secret service agent told Bob this would probably be the end of the investigation. And while Bob appreciates some of the publicity he's gotten for his radio show, this was not what he was looking for.
