OLDSMAR, FL --Five students heading to Calvin Hunsinger School escaped injury after their bus was hit from the rear by a car that trapped the car's driver.
Pinellas County School spokesperson Andrea Zahn says the bus was stopped when the car hit the rear end, but students were not hurt.
The car that hit the bus was hit from behind by another car as the vehicles traveled on Curlew Road near Tampa Road about 7:30 Wednesday morning.
An extrication team was sent to free the driver who was trapped in the car under the bus.
No identification has been released for those involved and the accident is under investigation.
