TAMPA, FL – To honor veterans in a special way, Florida state parks will offer free entrance fees Wednesday November 11 for Veteran’s Day.

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida State Parks will waive the entrance fees as a way to remember those who have fallen or were injured while serving in the military and those who are active duty military personnel.

Not included in the offer is the Skyway Fishing Pier State Park in Tampa.  Any tours or other fees are also not part of the special Veteran’s Day offer.
