Are you tired of slicing and dicing your food by hand with a knife? Well the makers of the Slap-Chop claim that it will chop your food in just seconds. But before you buy it, let me try it.

The Slap-Chop is supposed to be able to chop fruits, vegetables and even nuts. It also claims to be able to chop an onion, while removing the skin for you. And the best part is that it requires no messy clean up. So we put it to the test.

The instructions say you are just supposed to put your item on a cutting board and chop away. The more you chop, the finer the food is supposed to get. So we started with a potato, and found that it chopped very easily. The same went for strawberries and nuts, and it even chopped the onion, while simultaneously removing the skin! The Slap-Chop also talks about making things like tuna salad with all of the ingredients at once. So we put a hard-boiled egg, a pickle and tuna under it at the same time, and chopped away. And viola! We had a delicious tuna salad!

We did have trouble chopping a tomato. The Slap-Chop had a hard time getting through its’ skin. But overall I am impressed; I give the Slap-Chop two thumbs up! It was easy to use and very easy to clean up.

The Slap Chop cost $19.95 online.
