SPRING HILL, FL -- A Brooksville man caught in a love triangle is accused of shooting the man who caught him in the act.

Marlon Guardado was charged with aggravated battery after he shot a man who was trying to enter his truck while he was having sex with the man's girlfriend.

According to a Hernando County Sheriff's report, Guardado was having sex with a woman in the front seat of his pick up truck when victim Robin Nelson approached the passenger door and tried to open it. The door was locked and the windows rolled up and deputies say Nelson started banging on the truck to get the couple to stop.

The report says Guardado stopped, pulled a handgun out of his console, and fired a shot through the closed window hitting Nelson in the arm.

The woman was not hurt. Nelson ran form the scene and Guardado drove off.

Detectives say the woman identified Guardado, who admitted his involvement.
