Reward offered for man who shot at Pasco Deputy

PASCO COUNTY, FL -- Crime Stoppers has offered a reward for the man who shot at a Pasco County Deputy.

A reward of up to $1000 will be offered for information that leads to the arrest of an unknown black male suspect who shot at a Pasco County Sheriff's Deputy on June 22 around 10:30pm.

The Sheriff's Office says the Deputy responded to the Dade Oaks Apartments in Dade City in reference to shots fired in the area. The Deputy arrived at the apartments and observed an unknown black male, 25-30 years of age, 5'10" - 6'tall , and 200+ pounds walking away from him. 

The Deputy confronted the unknown black male, who then pointed a firearm at the deputy. The Deputy backed away in his vehicle for cover when the suspect fired his gun at the Deputy. The Deputy was not hit and the suspect fled on foot.
