HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says a plane had a rough landing at Vandenburg Airport.

Around 2pm on Wednesday a Cessna 206 was on the verge of landing when the front landing gear failed.

This malfunction caused the plane to slide over the runway. The front wheel fell off and the propeller hit the runway, making the plane nose dive into the pavement.

Two people on board who were from Connecticut recieved minor cuts.
