PINELLAS COUNTY, FL -- A pair of boaters are back on solid ground following a disastrous day on the Gulf.

A man and woman were boating off the coast of Pinellas County Thursday afternoon when their boat overturned.

Thankfully, the pair were wearing their life jackets and were able to safely swim to shore.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Department Marine Unit is still searching for the boat and trying to figure out what caused it to tip over.
