LAKELAND, FL -- The Lakeland Police Department says no suspicious devices have been found following a bomb threat at Florida Southern College.

The campus will be closed for the rest of the day and classes will resume Monday.

Classrooms and residences on the college campus were evacuated while Lakeland police searched.

Students are allowed to go back into buildings and residences.

The call came into the school's switchboard from a phone on campus. Students, faculty, and parents were notified by text messages, emails, and the PA system.
