POLK COUNTY, FL-- A Polk County Grand Jury indicted a Poinciana man on Thursday, who investigators say is connected to a slaying in May.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office said 25-year old George Miles, of 617 Mercado Court, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Gregory Dane Clark, 34, of Davenport.
Clarke's charred remains were found in the trunk of his burned Lexus on May 15th. The car was discovered in an orange grove near the intersection of 10th Street and Patterson Road in Haines City.
"Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our detectives, along with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service, we are bringing a murder to justice," Sheriff Grady Judd said.
Miles is being held by the New York Department of Corrections awaiting extradition back to Florida.
