TAMPA, FL -- Police report less than 30 were arrested for various crimes during or after the Super Bowl.
Three were arrested for grand theft and trespassing.
Nine were arrested for their involvement in counterfeit ticket sales or credentials. Several were arrested trying to sell counterfeit merchandise and collectables.
A pair of stolen tickets were recovered leading to charges against Alfred Dunn of Louisville, Kentucky. Once the theft was discovered, police were alerted and they gave chase. They say Dunn dropped the tickets in the median and were recovered by police who returned them to the ticket owner. Cops caught up with Dunn and took him to jail.
Brandi Holt-Driver of Bradenton was charged with a DUI crash involving a police horse. Cops say she hit a mounted patrol officer and his police horse at 7 Sunday evening at Columbus and Himes. The horse, named Ginger is from the Bushnell Police Department and neither she or the officer were hurt.
Problems with obeying the law was restricted to the ground. Several small passenger planes flew into the restricted air space near the Super Bowl and had to be re-directed.
