NEW YORK -- The Orange County meter reader who found
Caylee Anthony's (

Kronk confirmed he had called authorities three times in August saying he'd seen something suspicious in a wooded area not far from the home of Caylee's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony. He said an officer met him there. Kronk said the area was swampy and that the officer went to the water's edge, "swept his head back and forth and said 'I don't see anything'."
On December 11, Kronk returned to the area. Roberts asked Kronk, "Why did you go back?" Kronk said, "I had to go to the bathroom. So I went in there and looked over and I saw a shape that didn't look quite right to me and when I pulled the bag up, I basically looked down and there it was." He added there was no water there. "It had all dried up."
Kronk speculated that in back in August, the officer simply didn't want to go out into the water and investigate.
Since he discovered Caylee's remains, there has been speculation about Kronk's possible involvement in the girl's disappearance. He tried to put the rumors to rest to rest.
Roberts asked, "There's so much speculation about your possible involvement...and as a private citizen who came forward and helped so much in this case, how do you feel about all that?"
"No good deed goes unpunished...I figured this out all by myself," Kronk responded.
"Did you have any contact with anyone in the Anthony family before finding..."
Kronk cut Roberts off, "I've never even met those people. No."
"Did you have anything to do with the disappearance of Caylee Anthony?"
"No, of course not."
Kronk went on to say he feels he's been vilified, "People actually believe some of the things that are being said and I have nothing to do with this at all."
Kronk confirmed he was accused of kidnapping a former girlfriend in the early 1990's, but the charges were thrown out.
Caylee's mother,
Casey Anthony (

Mysterious P.I. video released
An Orlando TV station has obtained video showing a private investigator searching through the same wooded area where Caylee Anthony's remains were later found.
The images, obtained by WFTV, show Dominic Casey, who was hired by George and Cindy Anthony, poking and prodding through areas where he may have believed the toddler's body would be found. The video was shot by another private investigator, Jim Hoover, who was at the scene the same time as Dominic Casey.
The video was made on November 15 and 16, almost a month before Caylee's remains were found in the same wooded area. It also shows Casey searching around a nearby abandoned house.

Casey is also seen talking on a cell phone. He claims he was talking to his sick daughter. But, according to WFTV, Hoover believes Casey was talking with someone else who was giving him inside information about the area.
A WFTV reporter was allowed to listen to the audio on the video, but not record it. Reporter Kathy Belich, who listened the audio said, that at one point, she clearly heard Dominic Casey say, "It would be right here."
Hoover said he began cooperating with authorities December 18 after he realized his videotapes may be useful to investigators.
Orange County detectives and the FBI are examining the date and time stamps on the recordings, as well as Dominic Casey's cell phone records.
