Man killed in Clearwater shooting

CLEARWATER, FL -- Clearwater Police are investigating a shooting outside the Park Place Apartments Friday night that ended with one man dead.

Investigators said a male in his 20s was shot in a parking lot at 340 Fairwood Avenue just after 9 o'clock.

The victim was flown to Bayfront Medical Center where he later died. Officers are looking for several suspects but have not released any names or descriptions.

A motive for the shooting is under investigation.
