Last Update: 7/01 6:32 am
GULFPORT, FL -- A man was found dead after a fire at an auto body shop Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency officials were called out to Chuck's Auto Body and Detail Shop in Gulfport due to a fire. When crews got on scene they worked to put the fire out and discovered a body on the floor.

Officials identified the body as Charles Lee Hollman, who was the owner of the business.

Officials continued their investigation of the fire and said they found evidence that the fire had been started and that there was an injury to Hollman's head. They also found a gun at the scene near Hollman's body.

Currently, the Gulfport Fire Department, ATF, Florida State Fire Marshal's Office, the Pinellas County Sheriff's office, the Medical Examiner's office and the Gulfport Police department are investigating to determine how the fire started and if Hollman's injury was a self-inflicted gun shot wound.

An autopsy will be performed in the next few days.
