PASCO COUNTY, FL -- Pasco County Sheriff's deputies say they have made an arrest in a 2008 murder case.

They arrested Charles Edward Dear.

Detectives say Dear was arrested for other charges, but when they interviewed him about the murder case, Dear confessed.

They say that the murder happened one year ago Tuesday. The body of Theresa Jones was found in the backyard of her home in Holiday.

Dear has been charged with 2nd degree murder and arson for the 2008 crime.
