SARASOTA, FL -- A verdict has been reached in the murder trial of Michael King.

A jury found Michael King guilty of all charges in the kidnapping and murder of 21-year-old mother Denise Amber Lee.

The weeklong trial has been emotional for Lee's family.

In closing statements, prosecutor Lon Arend pointed to DNA evidence and a 911 call Denise Lee made from her abductor's cell phone that he said implicate Michael King in the young woman's murder.

Lee's cry for help was one of several 911 calls made regarding the abduction. One motorist was able to describe the car and its location, but the call was never relayed to patrol officers looking for Lee.

Deliberation started sometime after noon Friday and ended around 2:40pm.

Sentencing is scheduled for Tuesday at 9:30am. King could face death for the crime.
