TAMPA,FL -- Former "American Idol" finalist Jessica Sierra is no longer forced to stay away from cameras and microphones.
In a hearing Tuesday afternoon, Hillsborough County Circuit Judge Gregory Holder erased an order set by Circuit Judge Daniel Perry.
The January 2008 order stated that Sierra must stay at least 100 yards from microphones and cameras.
Judge Perry scolded Sierra for speaking to the media during her trial for violating probation, saying "You are not a celebrity; you are a drug addict."
Sierra was ordered into drug and alcohol treatment in 2007 after an arrest in Ybor City. She was charged with Misdemeanor Disorderly Intoxication and Resisting an Officer without Violence.
The incident violated Sierra's probation from a felony charge for throwing a glass at a customer at a Hyde Park nightclub. While being booked on that charge, officials found cocaine in Sierra's purse.
Sierra made a similar request in June in an effort to participate on the VH1 reality show "Celebrity Rehab 2." Her attorney withdrew the request later, saying the show had a production change.
