PUTNAM COUNTY, FL -- Investigators received new leads Monday night in the Haleigh Cummings case.  The tips have them looking at other areas beyond Putnam County, including out-of-state.

The Orlando sentinal reports Haleigh's Satsuma neighborhood Monday night and came across some people they had not spoken to when they went door-to-door last week.

Earlier Monday, authorities said their massive ground search for the 5-year-old was over.

Volunteer search-and-rescue teams have left the area, and investigators say they will employ "tactical searches" in response to new leads.

Putnam County Sheriff Jeff hardy urged family members not to give up hope.

"We hope to bring her home alive.  As I explained it to them with my staff...we've not abandoned the search. Depending on the urgency of the tip, we have resources ready to deploy," Hardy told reporters.

Some 300 local, state, federal and volunteers search teams scoured a five mile area around Haleigh's home over the past week.  Authorities say they've received more than 500 leads in the case.

Haleigh was discovered missing from her double-wide mobile home around 3 a.m. on February 10.  Her father's girlfriend made the discovery and called 911.

Investigators believe Haleigh was abducted.

44 known sex predators who live within a five mile radius of the home were interviewed and cleared.

Sheriff Hardy acknowledged that family members and others who know Haleigh consented to lie detector tests, but he wouldn't reveal any other details.

Among those who searched for the missing girl were members of Texas-based Equusearch, who played a role in the search for Caylee Anthony.

As he was preparing to leave, Equusearch founder Tim Miller told WJXT,"The hardest thing about our organization is for every person involved to put this kind of effort into it and walk away empty-handed. It's heart-breaking, it truly is...When you look at the whole picture, we did everything right. Our hearts were here, our compassion was here, we was focused on what we was doing -- she just isn't here."
