Hillsborough toddler still missing

VALRICO, FL -- More than 300 citizen volunteers and 125 law enforcement officers are out searching this morning for  missing toddler Luis Martinez. The 2-year-old boy was reported missing Friday around 3:30 p.m. by his parents.

The Hillsborough Sheriff's Department has also brought in their dive team to search area ponds 

The searched resumed this morning around 8:30 a.m. as hundreds of volunteers fanned out in the Valrico area in hopes of finding the little boy. 

Along with deputies, the Hillsborough Sheriff's Department is using dogs, horses and helicopters to aid in the search.

Deputies and agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement will resume interviews today with area residents.

A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert has been issued for Martinez who is described as weighing 30 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, last seen in the area of the 400 block of Silver Lane, in Valrico, Florida, wearing a blue and white striped with a tiger on the front  and red pants.
