VALRICO, FL -- The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert Friday for a 2-year-old Valrico boy.

Hillsborough County Deputies, dogs, horses and a helicopter were searching for Luis Martinez in eastern Hillsborough County.

Martinez was reported missing by his parents around 3:30 p.m.

Luis was last seen playing at a neighbor's home on Silver Lane, south of State Road 60 and off Mulrennan Road.  He was last seen wearing a blue and white striped shirt with a tiger on the front, red pants and sandals.

According to Rebecca Medina on the scene, authorities are searching in every car in the mobile home parking lot.  Also, groups of people who live in the area are out helping to look for the boy.

According to the FDLE website, six sexual offenders live within a one mile radius of the boy and his family.  Authorities are speaking with them.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Luis is asked to call 911 or the Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200.
