FORT MYERS, FL (AP) -- Health officials in southwest Florida say they've found a young girl who was seen in a photo playing with a rabid bat, but her parents say she had no contact with it.

The Lee County Health Department said Wednesday it is still looking for three boys who were among the kids at Fort Myers Beach seen playing with a dead bat that later tested positive for rabies. They may need rabies injections.

Witnesses saw the children, estimated to be between 10 and 12 years old, handling, kissing and playing with the bat June 15.

The photo of the girl was sent to the Lee County Health Department, which managed to locate her Wednesday after putting out a press release. She was not identified.
