Love the beautiful bronze you see on Hollywood stars? Now you can get that glow just like your favorite celebs!
Dressingup in skin-baring, goddess gowns all the time requires celebrities tobe vigilant about their skin appearance, both face and body.
Having bronzed limbs, like Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz, are highlydesirable in Hollywood and make us look lean and healthy, as well ashelp mask the dreaded cellulite that can appear.
If you're using self-tanner or visiting the spray tan booth to bronze your body, don't forget about your face.
According to beauty expert Diane Aiello, bronzer is a terrific way to blend the face in with your overall tan bod, highlight cheekbones and even blend streaks that appear in other areas.
But how do we choose and apply the right bronzer for our skin tone?
Aiellosays since tanning and/or prolonged sun exposure is the leading cause of skin aging, many women are tanning their bodies, but not their faces.
To even out skin tone and blend your face with youroverall body color, powder bronzer works wonders and is a fast, convenient way to add color. And remember, the ONLY safe tan is aself-tan!
How to choose and apply the right bronzer for your skin tone:
1. Choose a shade that is 1-2 shades darker, not 4-5 shades darker than your natural skin tone.
Darker shades give a muddy or often orange appearance.
2. Avoid using bronzer as blush which makes the face look dull and without dimension.
Instead add a touch of pink or peach blush to liven up the face and give a healthy, fresh look.
3.Use a big fluffy brush to apply your bronzer, always tapping off excess product before application to avoid streaking and blotchiness.
4. Sweep color back and forth across the forehead and cheeks, then finish along the nose and chin.
If the desired color is not achieved, repeat one more time.
5.To match a pale neck, sweep color back and forth along with jaw line, then with light strokes sweep up and down in a back and forth motion onthe neck.
Always blend with a sponge to ensure there are no lines of demarcation.
