Family of seven escape Tampa house fire

TAMPA, FL -- A family of seven escaped a house fire in Tampa on Wednesday afternoon.

Tampa Fire Rescue Firefighters had the fire on E. Mohawk Ave. out within ten minutes.  No one was injured.

The family, which included the owner, Oceva Wilson, 68, two other adults and four children were home at the time of the fire.

Fire rescue says a couple of the young children saw smoke coming from the bedroom and alerted the family.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
