We all know the main reason for a law like this...not to mention all the cops you see these days doing traffic instead of neighborhood patrols. It's all about money. If they can't meet their budget and have to make cuts... the cops will write more tickets to not only secure their raises but to secure their jobs. If they don't meet their budget and lack money to pay for more cops where do you think it's going to come from? They have already raised taxes on our license and tags (Effective Sept 1) Some of the fees double! I'd say watch your back because the cops are going to be out looking for anything and everything...and if you've ever gotten a break by a cop...that's just going to be a memory now...
