D.C. child rape suspect may be in Tampa Bay area

TAMPA, FL -- Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay hopes someone will have information about Marcos Reyes Banegas that will help them capture him in connection with a rape of an 8-year-old in the Washington, D.C. area.

The US Marshals Service for the Florida Region believes the Honduras native who is in the United States illegally has ties to the Brandon area.   There is concern he will try to leave the country.

Reyes has an active warrant for his arrest.  Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for his capture of up to $1000 for information that leads to his arrest.
